The Annual sports meet of Southlands College was held on 20th February 2018, at 1.00 pm at the International cricket stadium-Galle. The chief guest was Mr.Ashoka Senani Hewage,
Additional Secretary (school activities), Ministry of education and The special guest were Mr Nimal Disanayake Director of Education-Southern Province.
The results for the year 2018 is as follows.
1st place: Wisman
2nd place: Hunter
3rd place: Hellier
4th place: Westlake
Madam Sumedha Kariyawasam assumed duties as the new principal of Southlands College, Galle on the 25th of January. She excelled
Southlands College warmly welcomed its new grade one students for the academic year 2022, on the 21st of April.
The function took place in the school auditorium with the presence of Mrs. Chithra Bamunusinghe; the Zonal Director of Education, Mrs. Sumedha Kariyawasam;
Primary library is revived. Renovate and revived primary library which was started as
Mrs. Shanthi Seneviratne assumes duties as the Principal today.
