The environmental exhibition of Southlands College based on the grade five scholarship examination was conducted on the 4th,5th and 6th of June 2018. It was
declared open by the minister of home affairs honourable Mr Vajira Abeywardena
with the Patronage of Principal Mrs Sanadya Irani Pathiranawasam
Madam Sumedha Kariyawasam assumed duties as the new principal of Southlands College, Galle on the 25th of January. She excelled
Southlands College warmly welcomed its new grade one students for the academic year 2022, on the 21st of April.
The function took place in the school auditorium with the presence of Mrs. Chithra Bamunusinghe; the Zonal Director of Education, Mrs. Sumedha Kariyawasam;
Primary library is revived. Renovate and revived primary library which was started as
Mrs. Shanthi Seneviratne assumes duties as the Principal today.
